SAD MOVIES HELP TO REDUCE PAIN!

Good news for Horror and Drama movies fans! Recent studies of Oxford University showed that movies that get your emotions going can increase the amount of endorphins released by the brain. But, what does it mean?

 Movies that get your emotions going are movies of sad or traumatic stories; they are distressing and help you boost your tolerance to pain. Endorphins are your body's natural painkillers; chemicals that make you feel better after physical or psychological pain.
  

In conclusion the relation between watching emotional movies and pain threshold is caused because the same areas in the brain that deal with physical pain also handle psychological pain. So that mean that we smartly choose and enjoy watching sad or traumatic movies is the natural high from the endorphins our body uses to appease our pain either it is physical or psychological.

  7. Great now i will go to the cinema it's the perfect excuse to go with my girlfriend and my mates more frequently. I know a lot of horror movies I recommend 30 days of darkness or the train.

  14. I think when you are sad or depressed or angry and you watch a sad movie, it helps you to overcome this feeling, because you feel understood. Actually in my case I feel better after watch a sad/dramatic movie, it's like to forget what happened to me and the motive because of what I was sad or feeling bad.

  17. ed is a very good film comedy, I think movies are the perfect way to relax, are a form of entertainment, they are able to convey ideas through emotion and neutralize the instinct to repress feelings and trigger emotional release .
